Honestly, only if you feel your PC is Ultra status or above (video card has 4gb – 6gb video memeory) would I consider using my. I recommend sticking with these settings if you think you have a PC that is low to high range. (you shouldn’t need to backup the render text file.) Next open the SkyrimLauncher.exe from within the installed location (Should be within a path like this… – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Skyrim will automatically choose the intensity level of graphics settings you. However, the best practice would be to go to your ( My Documents / My Games / Skyrim ) Backup your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini – delete the original files including the RENDERINFO.txt file. This is dependent on each players PC hardware. ini settings set beyond Ultra settings so you may want to lower some settings. (AMD users: I’m sorry but I have no way to take screenshots of the process for your card drivers) Right click on your desktop background and choose Nvidia Settings. Kudos to Kalicola for providing this information… PART 2 – Calibrating your monitors black levels (THE EASY WAY) With Skyrim selected, choose the same settings as shown in the below screenshot.
